The HaslerRail gateway is an advanced communication module for railway and public transport applications. It is ideal for remote management, condition monitoring, and off-board data transmission.
Port-based subnetting makes it possible to separate different application networks, avoiding interference and guaranteeing dedicated communication channels. Quality of Service support prioritizes traffic to keep low-priority tasks from disrupting the transmission of critical data.
Used as the vehicles communication gateway, it allows stations to remotely access any web app or Intranet site, thanks to connection via a powerful VPN protocol suite. Multiple devices can be connected directly to the gateway using the integrated 5-port Ethernet switch.
The router software is built on proven components and standard communication protocols. The device is administrated via web browser or command line. Self-provisioning for new software or new configurations is also possible. Finally, the device can be configured remotely by customer programs via a powerful application interface.
