WTB-ETH Gateways

Description
Specifications

HaslerRail has been leading the development and standardization of TCN gateways even since the technology was first introduced. Today, the company’s IGW-450 products are widely used around the globe, and are known for their reliability.

Features / Benefits

  • Long service history
  • Expert customer support
  • Worldwide after-sales service
  • Proven reliability and interoperability

HaslerRail’s IGW450-ETH gateway was designed to the EN 61375 standard. It is used to connect the Wire Train Bus (WTB) to an Ethernet LAN.

A dedicated configuration tool can be used to create the database needed to configure the IGW to operate on TCN networks.

The IGW450-ETH is also compatible with redundant architectures. Two devices can be coupled on a single interconnection to the WTB. Each IGW450-ETH provides a pair of redundant WTB lines. This particular redundant architecture offers the benefit of being redundant both at device and line level. On the Ethernet line, two IGW450-ETH devices can be used to achieve redundancy.
