The compact RiCoGW001 protocol converter is used to interface an Ethernet network with either an MVB or an RS485 network. It supports MVB physical communication in all MVB Classes from 1 to 4, for both ESD and EMD options, including Bus Administration and Message Data.
RiCoGW001 is able to communicate on a UART interface (RS-485) via Modbus RTU.

The RiCoGW001 is delivered with a user-programmable Soft PLC for implementing non-standard gateway features from/to either of the communication interfaces. In addition, the RICoGW001 can be equipped with digital input/output for simple I/O functions The I/O functions can be managed from the SoftPLC.
