HaslerRail’s RTP100 is a multi-functional programmable device used in AC and DC rail vehicles to monitor traction parameters like voltage and current, and to protect traction equipment from overcurrents and short-circuits or catenary supply voltages out of the safe operational range.

If the parameters measured exceed the thresholds configured, output relays wired in series with the vehicle main circuit breaker control circuit trip the breaker, keeping the vehicle and passengers safe.

The RTP100 can also be used in coordination with the TCMS (Traction Control & Management System) to detect vehicle supply voltage. RTP100 parameters can be configured by the customer using dedicated software. It can be delivered with other Sécheron electrical safety components and solutions like AC and DC circuit breakers, and voltage and current sensors.
