The MMR400 MVB Repeater is a bus extender that regenerates the signal on the bus to extend IEC 61375 MVB EMD segments beyond their limited segment length, quickly and easily. The repeater products two redundant segment ports, one for the end of each line. It can be configured to implement advanced features like responding to status requests or mapping to a logic address to enable the MVB master controller to receive statistics and troubleshooting information from the repeater and to determine whether the network is operating properly up to the repeater.

The device is delivered with a dedicated configuration connector on the front panel, making it convenient to configure the MVB device address and enable/disable advanced functions and jabber control.
