Escape Mobility is a specialist in evacuation equipment for the public transport sections like airports, busses, ferries and railways. We are in the business since 1987 and we are known for our high quality in products and services. We are a PRM specialist and therefore know about the specific legislation EU 1300/2014 on the technical specifications for interoperability relating to accessibility of the Union’s rail system for persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility.

We supply different types of evacuation equipment like the Escape-Chair® evacuation chair and Escape-Mattress® evacuation mattress. We also provide training in the use of thee medical device class 1 equipment’s, and the necessary yearly maintenance.

We also provide powered equipment to get PRM travellers up and down a flight of stairs. And even wheelchairs and boarding chairs for daily use.

In case of an emergency situation, like fire-, smoke alarm or gas escape, all people in the building need to evacuate as safe and quick as possible. However, in case the elevator cannot or may not be used, using the stairs to leave the building is the only option. In case there are people present that need extra assistance leaving the building, it is of upmost importance that evacuation equipment is available.
