Bespoke floor doors for floor and equipment access by the UK’s leading manufacturer of floor access hatches. Surespan floor access products are available for all types of floor finishes including concrete, marble, ceramic, and terrazzo.
Manufactured in stainless steel or aluminium, the floor hatches can be manufactured to suit up to 24 tonnes slow moving pneumatic wheel load. Stainless steel floor cover is best for bespoke uses.
Underfloor services, plant and equipment rooms are accessed by a lift out cover, hydraulic or electric opening depending on size. Hydraulic and electric can be operated via a key switch.
Floor hatches can be fire rated for up to 4 hours and tested to UL-EU standards
All floor covers are precision manufactured and made to measure. This allows the manufacture of any size.

Material: Available in aluminium or stainless steel depending on size, specification and requirements
Lid: Can be recessed to accommodate for any type of infill, from granite to vinyl. Alternatively, with a metal top lid.
Loading: Manufactured to take a wide variety of loading capacities from pedestrian up to 24 tonne slow moving wheel load (Pneumatic)
Operation: Manual gas springs, electric or hydraulic options determined by the size and weight of the lid.
Fire Rating: If required the hatch can be fire rated up to 4 hours.
Acoustic Rating: If required the hatch can include for sound reduction up to 45dB
Safety: Various safety options can be specified depending on access requirements.
