The 13th International Exhibition of Railway Technology will take place in Lille, France, from March 28th to March 30th 2023.
Staged every two years since 1999, SIFER, France’s only B2B international railway exhibition, brings together all of the stakeholders in the rail industry, suppliers and manufacturers of the very latest in railway technology. By holding the event, Mack-Brooks aims at assuring the networking between all operators, developing business opportunities and keeping up to date with market trends.
SIFER 2023 is looking at the future with the creation of an Innovation Hub at the heart of the show. This space will be dedicated to start-ups with highly innovative and creative solutions to solve tomorrow’s challenges. SIFER has always proved to be at the forefront of the sector trends and innovations.
Numerous exhibitors have renewed their attendance at this next edition, proving the influence of SIFER in the railway market. 85 companies are already on the participants’ list to showcase their solutions next March, such as ABB France, ROV Development, Rail Europe Solutions, Sirail, Direct SAS or ACC M. 15% of registered exhibitors are new participants that will show their products for the first time at the event.
The visitors will be able to enjoy activities aimed at fostering networking, knowledge exchange and keeping up to date with the latest innovations, attend conferences addressing the key topics and future trends of the industry such as sustainability and digitalisation and experience all rail products in real life through an on-track display.

On-Track Display: an established and successful feature
Sections of track laid in the exhibition hall enable suppliers of rail-mounted vehicles and track-related equipment to display their products. There is no better way to experience a supplier’s product than to see how it sits, works and looks on track as it would in the field.
The on-track display is provided by ETF, a subsidiary of EUROVIA (VINCI Group) and one of the world’s leading players in the rail industry, specialising in the construction and maintenance of national railway networks, urban transport networks and industrial sidings.

An insightful conference programme
Through its cooperation with Show Partners that include key organisations shaping the rail industry in France, the show offers vital insights into future trends in policy and technology. A diverse programme of associated events will be held, addressing some of the challenges facing railway operators and suppliers at a watershed period for the industry.
