Outdoor Integrated DC Voltage and Current Sensors

Description
Specifications

HaslerRail has been serving the rail industry since 1887. With thousands of installations in service worldwide, we have built up broad, deep knowledge of energy metering and management for rolling stock. Our outdoor integrated DC voltage and current sensors are based on this experience.

Features / Benefits

  • Suitable for energy measurement
  • Current loop transmission for noise immunity
  • Optional multiple outputs
  • Compact and lightweight

The Jedy integrated voltage and current measurement transducer is suitable for railway traction systems operating at nominal system voltages of 750 VDC, 1.5 kVDC, and 3 kVDC.

It is accurate enough to be used for the catenary Voltage Measurement Function (VMF) and Current Measurement Function (CMF) to EU standards for energy measurement on board rail vehicles. It is also suitable for rooftop installation.

Jedy can be delivered as a stand-alone device for rooftop installation by car builders and operators. It can also be provided as part of Sécheron Hasler Group’s comprehensive Energy Management System, which also includes the REM102 Energy Meter with DHS and DCS.

All of our products are backed by HaslerRail experts, who provide recommendations and support throughout the project lifecycle, and Sécheron Hasler Group’s worldwide network of service locations for assistance throughout the product lifetime.
