Torrent Trackside is proud to announce that we have purchased a significant fleet of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). The fleet consists of the latest NEOTEC and Rail Products MEWPs. All are four wheel drive, all terrain vehicles with a large platform on an extendable arm. The platform has a 400kg maximum capacity and can be fitted with a pantograph measuring tool.
ART17TH MEWP
Our fleet of Rail Products ART-17TH Roadrail Access Platforms benefit from a large basket capability 400kg (3 man basket) and is one of the latest generation of Roadrail MEWPs, which are fully compliant with RSSB standard RIS 1530 PLT issue Six.
These high end Robust Manitou 160-ATJ + with upgraded slip ring assembly based machines have the very latest emissions tested Tier 4 Kubota Engine fitted. The LED lighting system gives a bright working area to complete tasks safely. This MEWP is ideally suited to major OLE projects, maintenance, bridge and tunnel works.

Pantograph
The MEWPs can be fitted with an advanced pantograph which will take height and stagger measurements while the vehicle is moving. The pantograph continuously shows measurements on a digital display and can also download the measurements to an Excel file.
