Sécheron Hasler Group’s soon-to-be-released iTEMS-DHS is a compact, stand-alone device that measures train energy consumption. A small form factor and unique integration architecture make it ideal for solving space problems. It integrates the Voltage Measurement Function (VMF), the Current Measurement Function (CMF), the Energy Calculation Function (CMF), and the Data Handling System (DHS). It is suitable for indoor applications requiring voltage detection, traction control, and energy measurement on systems from 600 VDC to 3,000 VDC.
The device also produces and records Compiled Energy Billing Data (CEBD) by combining energy data with time, location and other data, and transfers it via the integrated communication module (GSM-R, 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi) to the ground-based Data Collection System (DCS).
iTEMS can be delivered as a stand-alone device for installation by car builders and operators. It can also be integrated into Sécheron Hasler Group’s MODBOX® enclosures, or with Sécheron Hasler Group’s comprehensive Energy Management System, which also includes the REM102 Energy Meter with DHS and DCS.
