The Class 158 fleet is leased to Arriva Rail North Limited  and covers most routes in the east, Calder Valley, York – Blackpool, Leeds – Nottingham, Leeds – Lincoln, Sheffield – Bridlington/Scarborough, Leeds – Huddersfield and York – Hull.

The fleet is currently configured as 10 x 2 car units and undergoing a series of modifications which include:

• Digital Train
• Wabasto Heaters
• PRM/PIS & Interior Refresh
• Swap out to Bar Couplers from Semi Auto
