Rolling Stock Maintenance & Depot Optimisation Europe 2022

Event Information

Taking place in person and online on 28-30 June 2022, our Rolling Stock Maintenance Summit returns to London with an additional third day dedicated to Depot Optimisation and global case studies on strategies and technologies focused on reduce maintenance downtime and cost.

We are all aware of the current limitations of relying solely on predictive maintenance and the needs of a more complex maintenance strategy that balances predictive analytics, condition based data and routine inspection. We will explore how you can ensure that you have the most efficient maintenance plans in place.

Getting staff to engage with new technologies and practices can be a challenge.  Robotics, Image Recognition and Acoustic Analysis amongst others presents low-cost opportunities for managing and automating routine tasks, allowing engineers to focus their time more effectively. This underlines the importance of ensuring engineers get behind changes to working practices and the adoption of these new technologies.

We will explore how leading rail operators as well as other sectors have managed similar implementation changes and challenges, to insure that money spent investing in new practices and technologies has the intended benefits to your operations.

For the first time we also have a whole separate day dedicated to Depot Optimisation allowing us to explore the suitability and future upgradability of depots for new fleets, how to optimise planning to prevent delays and how to ensure depot safety and security across all levels.
